PROPOSAL

The purpose of this project was to improve the trowel’s design and functionality by enhancing its ergonomics, durability, and performance. This would include creating a more comfortable, easy to hold handle, refining the blade’s shape for easier soil penetration and scooping, and utilizing lightweight yet strong materials to ensure durability without adding extra weight. Additionally, the design will feature a premium upscale design, for those gardeners who would like a tool that they could be proud of.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Current garden trowels can be uncomfortable to use for extended periods and often lack ergonomic features that improve grip and user comfort. A modern trowel design that enhances the gardening experience with durability, while maintaining effective digging performance. How might we design a garden trowel that reduces user fatigue, improves grip comfort and control, and provides a refined, modern aesthetic while maintaining the durability and functionality required for everyday gardening tasks?
